She maybe a style icon herself getting accolades for her designer frocks and sleek looks but on a personal note actress Jennifer Aniston takes fashion inspiration from none other than Cameron Diaz.

Donning a colour-blocked Lanvin mini during the red-carpet premier of The Switch, she admitted to pulling inspiration from other A-listers, People magazine reported.

"I love seeing Cameron Diaz on the red carpet. I think she's gorgeous and has a lot of style," Aniston said.

The 41-year-old actress also praised fellow Hollywood beauty Cate Blanchett,lauding her style sense as "always interesting and unique".

Poor Jen! As though being single wasn't tragic enough, Jennifer Aniston has had one helluva week, being attacked by, on the one side, Fox News's swivel-eyed Bill O'Reilly, and, on the other, Barbra Streisand. Jesus, it's almost as bad as being single. Hey, did we mention that Jennifer Aniston is single?

O'Reilly exclusively announced that, alongside Obama, New York and socialised healthcare, Aniston is "destructive to our society". No, she was not caught with bombs strapped beneath her Donna Karan beige sheath dress; she dared to say "women don't have to settle with a man just to have a child."

To help pass the time until she becomes Jen O'Reilly, Aniston, for reasons that remain opaque, posed for photos in the style of Barbra Streisand for a fashion mag. Was Barbra-with-two-A's happy? Um, kinda. "I was very flattered that Jennifer Aniston chose to interpret my style . . . If only she had a bump on her nose," said Babs.



I have a lot of time for Barbra. There's just something about a generously nosed Jewish girl from New York who sees nothing implausible about storylines in which Robert Redford and Nick Nolte fall madly in love with her that appeals to this faction of LiS. And now I have a lot more time for her with this reference to the fact that at the beginning of her career Aniston had her nose "fixed", although Barbra and I prefer the word "ruined".

To capture the lazy smiling-sun atmosphere, KL shipped the models in on speedboats by the handful and had them saunter in their flowing florals in a runway set-up by the seaside. There’s no better way to ring in this stifling summer other than the dresses and ruffles that Lagerfeld offered up.

This collection’s vibrant color palette ranged from desert-sand gold to rosy pink, with dashes of chocolatey brown. The stark whites stood out brilliantly in contrast to the nudes and neutrals used in other looks. A group of black-on-white dresses stayed true to the classic Chanel minimalism.


The show was perfect as a look into a complete, vacation wardrobe, with looks for every occasion. Why the only thing that was missing was me. But it’s forgiven, I’m sure my invite just got lost in the mail. Or maybe KL realized that I’d be taking AP exams that week and so thoughtfully channeled my loves into the collection.
