fashion, shoes and we get to admire diamonds sparkle.

Report shoes have been everywhere. They've made their mark in numerous magazines, including Seventeen, Lucky, People and Vogue. You've probably seen them on the feet of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian.

You can find them at Nordstrom and buy them at Zappos. Now, this Bellevue-based company has its own brand-spanking-new shop right at home in Bellevue Square. It's the first and only Report footwear brick-and-mortar shop.

Report has been evolving in both style and quality for 30 years, with the Report brand launching in 2010It currently has two lines, Report Signature and Report. The Signature collection is typically sexier, edgier, a little more luxurious and fashion-forward, while Report has a wider range of styles for everyday wear from flats to over-the-knee boots.

The former is generally more expensive than the latter. In the new brick-and-mortar store, not only do we get to choose from both lines, but we'll also get first pick (and sometimes exclusive pick) of limited-edition styles and accessories.

What's fascinating about these shoe designs is the amount of detail and gear one shoe can handle and still look sophisticated. They could, given a wrong design turn here or there, look like a walking hardware store. But somehow, the back-of-the-heel zippers, snaps, studs, grommets and buckles manage to accessorize, rather than overtake the shoes. The shoes come in a range of neutral go-with-anything colors, including bronze and gunmetal. However, there are a few exceptions. In vivid contrast to the shades of brown and black is a colorful collection of gummy shoes, heavily embellished with a kaleidoscope of rhinestones on the toes.
